Too many squids in a barrel and it’s all ink:
every building in this city floods or burns
or must relearn how to romance the gap
between dirt and asterisk. At risk for unloving,
copper re:wire, alchemy. Enemy anemone,
brutal belle, re:coil. Say shoot. Fire, mark:
playing with. The moon, sliver and shrapnel;
you, the ampersand to my stand and deliver.
