I have no time to escape or lie down before sunset.
I didn’t say the words but knew
they were placed within me
like a bouquet of branches
I’m the same quality here
as I was by the sea.
Sometimes at night I play poker with myself
other times my lungs fill up with snow
and still at other times I walk
and meet new people.
My neighbor has a bijon terrier
and swears it barks with a French accent.
Drown it I think
drown that now.
