Mary Anna Evans is an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma, where she teaches fiction and nonfiction writing. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Rutgers-Camden. Her ninth Faye Longchamp archaeological mystery, Isolation, was released in August 2015. She is the recipient of a Benjamin Franklin Award, the Mississippi Author Award, three Florida Book Awards bronze medals, and a writing residency at The Studios of Key West. Her shorter works have appeared in The Atlantic, Spartan, Saw Palm, Monkeybicycle, and Bitch.
